The topic of information visualization in modern mass media has become one of the hottest topics in the science of journalism in recent years. In this paper, a classification of the visualization of journalistic material is proposed: the design of an online publication, illustrations, photographs, infographics, and various forms of multimedia content characterize the trends of their development. Visual effects are applicable not only to print media but also to television and Internet media. The digital revolution is characterized by the emergence of new and the evolution of previously known forms of visualization. In particular, television and Internet media have gained great advantages in terms of the possibilities of technical solutions and visual forms of displaying content.
