Abstract

Data journalism has become one of the mechanisms of the global technological revolution,
influencing the media industry, which demands speed and sensationalism. With the explosive development of
information and communication technologies over the past decade, journalism researchers have begun to focus
on the field of “data-driven journalism” which can be called the most innovative. Indeed, today a journalist is
required to know both aspects of his profession and to be skilled in the design and information technology.
In addition, a journalist has to work with a lot of data and statistics. In many parts of the world, journalists
and experts write hundreds of articles a day using industry tools and features. Therefore, it is important to
constantly monitor the development of data journalism. At the same time, there is progress in data journalism
in Kazakhstan
