At present, the global network is one of the most powerful and significant information spaces capable of solving global issues. Speaking about its advantages, the Internet is interactive, which allows continuous, real-time dialogue with its user base. This is a major step toward universal globalization, as the Internet enables people from anywhere in the world, across different continents, to communicate with one another. Through the Internet, people from all corners of the world have ample opportunities to exchange experiences and communicate with friends or even complete strangers. However, while social media brings such benefits, it also raises ethical challenges. Social media platforms have access to vast amounts of personal data, and there are growing concerns about how this data is stored, collected, and used. False information, hate speech, and cyberbullying can influence people’s decisions and beliefs. In this article, we will examine the potential issues and challenges that may arise in the media and discuss the need for individuals and society to address them ethically and responsibly.
