Abstract

The article focuses on the theme of sincerity truth in the general documentary
filmmaking, by analyzing the notion of «truth in a documentary film», which has been shaped by
different views from world documentary film makers, art critics, and researchers, the truth and
true cognition of the television documentary, which has been developed during the era of the film,
relative authenticity, interference shooting, the main differences between the truth of documentary
film and authenticity of art, while focusing on the weighted content of photos and documentary
film authenticity, analyzing the factors that influence the reality and the main ways to achieve the
reality.
