Abstract

The article discusses the impact of gender policy on culture, social roles of
people, opportunities and corporate, social and private interaction. Gender forms an integral part
of human life, affects beliefs, and also defines the various roles attributed by societies to men and
women.
The journalism of Kazakhstan draws attention to the pressing problems of gender policy.
In the training seminar (Almaty, 2018, November 2-3) “Strengthening the curriculum on gender
journalism in Kazakhstan”, held jointly with the UNESCO Cluster Office of the UNESCO Chair,
international journalism and communication of the Faculty of Journalism of the Al-Farabi Kazakh
National University comprehensively discussed these issues of gender policy
