Abstract

The article discusses issues that characterize the current stage of media ethics development in the Kazakh media sphere. In the conditions of deepening globalization, the problems of the content and quality of media material addressed to a mass audience become especially important. In the domestic media sphere, there is a growing demand for Kazakh-language media content. The phenomenon of the influence of information received from mass media on the behavior and preferences of the audience, as well as the problem of compliance of media products with the needs and expectations of consumers, is analyzed. The results of the analytical survey of the consumer audience are presented, based on which the conclusions and proposals for the peculiarities of the consumer audience of the domestic media market are formulated. Additionally, a thorough analysis and thoughtful evaluation of unethical materials published in print media and social networks was conducted from the perspective of journalistic ethics. When evaluating the expression of opinion, the opinion of consumers of the media content of domestic mass media is taken as a basis. Special attention was also paid to the theoretical works of domestic and foreign authors and studies written in recent years related to media ethics.
