Abstract

In this article, the author examines the models of interaction between the government and the media. Analyzing the existing models, the author concludes that the Kazakh media sphere does not apply a certain model of interaction, there is a combination of features of different models. Further, the author points out the necessary conditions required to improve the quality and content of interaction between the media and
the authorities.
