Abstract

The article examines changing trends and multimedia aspects of genres and forms of modern journalism, and also analyzes how traditional genres and forms of journalism are updated and adapted to different formats in the digital age. The development of information technologies, especially the widespread use of the Internet, the influence of social networks and mobile platforms have led to the emergence of new genres and forms. The impact of new media tools and platforms on journalism will be studied, as well as how the integration of multimedia content - text, video, infographics, podcasts, and interactive elements - has led to changes in the perception of information. The article analyzes the structure and functions of new genres, examines their place in the information space and their influence on society. New genres in journalism and their application increase the effectiveness of journalistic activity and allow responding to the needs of the audience. It examines how the rapid dissemination of information and consumer demand for innovations affect the change in genres of journalism, as well as analytical data and forecasts regarding the directions in which modern journalism will develop in the future. The article discusses the directions of development of new genres in modern journalism, their connection with society and their future in the media industry.
