Abstract

The article is devoted to the great Kazakh poet, wise thinker, educator, composer,
interpreter, pioneer of the culture of the Kazakh language, but at the same time, very close to the Russian
and European culture. There is an analysis of the works of his disciples who have become the greatest poets
in the Kazakh history. To show an example, they rely on the memoirs of Abai’s son and disciple Turagul.
This article also highlights the work of Abai and his disciples who represented the beginning of
the creation and development of the national publication of Kazakhstan. Having written memoirs about his
father, Turagul analyzed social, public, political and historical aspects in Abai era.
