Abstract

The article looks into 13 years of the formation and development of fact-checking platforms in
Turkey to explore the characteristics of their fight against false information in social networks. Consideration is
given to the structure of Turkish fact-checking organizations, with the topical aspects of their activities eluciated
and highlighted based on expert interviews.
