Features of the development of environmental journalism in Kazakhstan

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the formation and development of environmental media, which are considered a new and innovative area of journalism. The relevance of the study today lies in clarifying and evaluating the role of the media in shaping the deep attitude and culture of mankind toward ecology. Thus, attention should be paid to the creative nature of the environmental media in front of the public, which will determine the causes of environmental problems and their prerequisites.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the stages of development and formation of environmental journalism by chronological years, drawing attention to comparative data and stories in modern domestic and foreign media. The content of the term "ecology" is very large and wide. Among them, the object of study will be researchers of domestic journalism and the work of professionals working in the field of journalism in the near and far abroad.

In this regard, the article highlights not only the past and present of environmental journalism but also its first steps and features of public support.
