The impact of digital technology on the news service

The article considers the features of the news service’s activity during the period of rapidly
developing information flows in the era of communication technologies. The article analyzes the scientific
conclusions of such world researchers as Everett Dennis, John Merill, John Nasbit, Alvin Toffler, Rolf Dobelli, Taylor Filo, Alain de Botton, and Thomas Pattersen. The article considers the judgments of such Russian
scientists as Lada Braslavets and Rudolf Boretsky. There were studied and analyzed the works of global experts
Neil Snow and Walter Lipman. The article analyzes twelve factors that should be considered by global research
scientists.
The article analyzes views of world experts as a modern trend, the trend of introducing all kinds of
entertainment elements that involuntarily attract the attention of viewers to the essence of the news. In the
formulation of conclusions about such steps taken in the digital age in order to reach a wide audience, the
author refers to the research of Russian professor Rudolf Boretsky.
There were studied processes of the influence of the information war and uncompromising competition on
the television news service in detail based on the research of world scientists and summarized by the author’s
judgments.
The article examines the activities of the news service in the era of digital transformation on the example
of such domestic TV channels as «Khabar 24», «Khabar», «Kazakhstan», «Astana», «CPC», «Channel 31» and»
Ort-Eurasia».
The authors also present an analysis focusing on the problem of dividing news into «hard» and «soft» in the
modern news distribution service.
The study contains textual analyses, scientific conclusions, and definitions of global scientists.
