The article is devoted to the analysis of technological and political factors influencing political journalism. The article examines the theoretical issues of working with politically-oriented materials in modern journalism, based on the premise that the origins of modern Kazakh political journalism — the publication of the Aiqap magazine and the Qazaq newspaper — were born out of the goal to disseminate competent information, enhance political literacy, and influence public consciousness. Our goal is to identify the theoretical foundations of technological and political factors influencing political materials in modern media. The theoretical concepts explored in the article can be applied in analyzing political materials in Kazakh media and in preparing scientific research in this field. Comparison, analysis, review, and synthesis methods were used. The article presents an analysis of technological and political factors influencing modern political journalism. Taking these analyses as theoretical conclusions allows for analyzing political materials in Kazakh-language mass media, determining public perception levels, and identifying the role of influencing factors. The value of the research lies in the ideas and conclusions aimed at increasing the political literacy of the public — the main objective of political journalism — and in fostering skills in working with mass media materials. The presented theoretical analyses will lead to extensive studies on the influencing factors as theoretical objects of political journalism.
