Abstract

The article focuses on the new names in the field of journalism and their advantages through
the Internet. It assesses the activities of groups active in today’s society, such as new media concepts and civic
journalism. The article also notes the advantages of technical and technological advancement in the field of
media. Scientific conclusions of foreign scientists and domestic researchers were analyzed and an insight into
the new name of the journalism industry was given. Opinions from foreign researchers and traditional media
outlets are included.
It also provides examples of new media content in domestic journalism. It studies the Kazakhstan mass
media that uses elements of civil journalism. The article focuses on the projects where civilians and traditional
media journalists work together, noting that civil society representatives actively work in the country
