Abstract

In the article, the authors reveal the substantive nature of the ethnic press by examining its evolutionary process, verifying its existence through scientific methods, and pinpointing its social and practical functions. The authors focus on the emergence of situations in the context of globalization that are contrary to the preservation of national interests and national values, as well as revealing the significance of the ethnocultural sphere. Our country’s ethnic peoples share ethnocultural, political- social, and economic connections.

The purpose and objectives of the research article are to reveal the socio-political, historical, and substantive nature of ethnopublicism, draw scientific and theoretical conclusions, and give its definition. The foundations of the historical development of ethnopublicism are analyzed through interethnic relations and ethnocultural characteristics in a multiethnic society. In order to determine the place of ethnopublicism in the implementation of national policy in Kazakhstan, publications such as “Ahiska,” “Davar,” “Nairi,” “Kore Ilbo,” and "Uigur Avazi" are the objects of research.

The article comprehensively examines the works of scientists who previously studied the field of ethnopublicism, which is not a separate object of study, as a genre. A research system to find a solution to a problem allows us to take a deeper look at the nature of tradition and novelty.

Previously, the content and applied activities of ethnopublicism were reflected in the press, television, and radio. From a thematic point of view, we can say that the author created and studied a new scientific concept. And ethnopublicism, which is a separate type of genre, is undergoing scientific differentiation for the first time.
